​Having specialised in portrait painting at university, I have always had a great interest in people and identity. I love studying faces, all of the nuances in skintone, the texture in the wrinkles or the way the light twinkles in the eyes; all of the features that make us instrinsically us.
My preferred medium is oil paint. I work from several different photographs at once, which allows me to have a wider perception and understanding of my subject.
